SUPER HEALTHY, VERY EASY & PUPPY APPROVED “Mix-Ins & Toppers”

Tip: be sure to use high quality ingredients free of added preservatives, sugars and sodium. If you want to go the extra mile, use organic.

Dough ReMia’s Doggie Dough® is delicious on its own, whether it’s baked or consumed as is (non-baked or “raw”). But, if you want to be a bit more adventurous & mix things up a bit, try some of these additional mix-ins and/or toppers that are sure to be a dog pleaser!

It’s super easy to Mix-In...

If you have any of the following ingredients, just chop or crumble into the dough. Knead the dough to incorporate, and then shape & bake or roll into balls and refrigerate before serving:

  • Shredded Parmesan cheese

  • Cooked (turkey) bacon

  • Creamy Nut butters

  • Sunflower seed butter

  • Chopped parsley/ mint (for fresh breath)

  • Chopped apples/ applesauce

  • Cinnamon

  • Turmeric

  • Shredded carrots

  • Old-fashioned oats

  • Blueberries

  • Bananas

  • Carob chips

  • What's your dog's favorite flavor? Mix it in!

If you want to add a topping (or icing/frosting) to your baked treats, try the following combinations:

cupcake dog treats topped with peanut butter
*PAWty Dog Treats topped with peanut butter, blueberries and dog-safe sprinkles (shredded carrots & coconut will do the trick, too!)

Before Baking:

  • Sprinkle of cinnamon

  • Sprinkle of Parmesan cheese

  • Coat with old-fashioned oats

  • Crumbled, cooked (turkey) bacon

*Cookie Cutters sold separately (available individually or in bundles)

After Baking:

  • Mix together equal parts room temperature plain Greek yogurt & creamy peanut butter

  • Mix together room-temperature 4 oz. cream cheese and ¼ cup creamy peanut butter

  • Melted nut butters, drizzled on top

  • Melted carob chips mixed with coconut oil drizzled on top

To drizzle or decorate, add mixed ingredients into a ziplock bag, make a small snip on one corner of the bag, and gently squeeze desired amount onto each treat.
